The Boathouse project was a remarkable collaboration between the Amphora Architecture team and the clients to create an innovative and functional project that integrated seamlessly with the enchanting views of the Lake of the Woods. One of the most striking features of the boathouse is its minimalist steel frame, which allows for maximum openness and transparency. The ash wood ceiling adds a touch of warmth and natural beauty, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for those enjoying the lake. A low profile roof was designed to preserve the breathtaking views of the water from the cottage.

In addition to its elegant design, the boathouse is equipped with three boat slips, floating and fixed docks, a sister pergola with a retractable roof, a bar, and sauna. A simple yet thoughtful layout allows for the seamless navigation of boats and easy access to amenities such as the bar and sauna. Throughout the design process, Amphora Architecture worked closely with the clients to ensure that every element of the design was tailored to their unique needs and preferences. Immersive renderings and animations were created during each iteration of the design to help the client make informed decisions and visualize the final product.
