A: Yes - assembling a building permit application (filling out prescribed forms and certificates and coordinating the completion of required documents by others) is typically built-in to our base scope of services on a project.

We can provide assistance with navigating the re-zoning and/or variance processes, including assembling applications, representing our clients at zoning and variance hearings, and leading meeting with city planners, zoning officers, and community groups in advance of hearings.

A: Yes, we can provide construction cost estimates at different stages of a project, from preliminary estimates based on initial design to detailed estimates based on a project’s final design.

Having a solid handle on a project’s cost during the design phase is a critical ingredient to success at the finish line, and we have a skilled team and robust processes in place that can keep your project on budget throughout the design and construction journey.

Oftentimes our clients come to us with predetermined budgets but without a fully resolved set of requirements. We can help by generating a Functional Program at the earliest stages of a project, which can then be tested against a pre-set budget via a cost estimating exercise; once these two sets of numbers are established, our creative team can begin the process of bringing these together to make your project work.
